Why does finance education feel so disconnected from what business owners actually need? Back in 2019, our founder spent months working with small business owners across Gyeonggi-do who kept saying the same thing.

They didn't need another textbook. They needed someone to translate the jargon into real decisions.

Our Beginning

From Confusion to Clarity

The spark came from a meeting with a café owner in Bucheon who was drowning in spreadsheets but couldn't tell if she was actually making money. She had the numbers. What she lacked was the framework to make sense of them.

That conversation shifted everything. We realized most finance education assumes you already speak the language. But what if you're just starting? What if terms like cash flow and margins sound theoretical when you're trying to decide whether to hire someone next month?

By early 2020, we'd built our first workshop series. Nothing fancy—just practical sessions where business owners could ask messy questions and get straight answers. The response surprised us. People weren't looking for perfection. They wanted honesty about what really matters in running a sustainable business.
